Hi, I’m Morgan Leigh the artist behind Fancy Froggy. 🐸✨

My love for art began when I was around 5 years old. Growing up I was completely obsessed with creating in every form possible… drawing, storytelling, designing tiny characters, building little imaginary worlds, and turning ideas in my head into something real. ♡ Creativity was never just a hobby for me. It was the way I experienced the world.

As I got older, that passion only grew stronger. In high school, I took multiple college-level art classes and spent countless hours building two separate art portfolios in a single year. Both portfolios ended up receiving the highest scores in the state of Texas, a moment that deeply encouraged me to believe that maybe this childhood dream of becoming an artist could actually become real. ☆

But one of the biggest turning points in my creative journey happened when I discovered polymer clay sculpting at 10 years old. I instantly fell in love with it.

I spent years sculpting tiny characters, filming little tutorials, and writing stories.

At 19 years old, I moved from Texas to Indiana and suddenly found myself trying to build a completely new life far away from everything familiar. It was exciting, emotional, and unfamiliar at times. I stayed connected to my creativity by teaching children how to sculpt with polymer clay, while studying in college. In 3.5 years, I graduated from the University of Houston with my Bachelors degree & also got married! During this season of life, Fancy Froggy quietly began. ⊹ ࣪ ˖⊹ ࣪

While teaching, I sculpted the sweetest little set of frogs — and immediately knew they were special. They felt like tiny storybook characters with personalities of their own. That was the moment I realized I didn’t just want to make sculptures… I wanted to create an entire world around them. ♡

Over the years, that little frog universe grew alongside me as I had babies (2 under 2!), I was now a mom to three, and continued creating through every stage of life. I started bringing my little frogs to local vending events, honestly not fully knowing what I was doing at first — I just knew I wanted to share this magical little world with people. And somehow, people connected with them! (:

Today, every Fancy Froggy piece is still hand sculpted by me with the same wonder, imagination, and love for storytelling that inspired me as a little girl. Each frog is meant to feel comforting, nostalgic, whimsical, and full of personality — like a tiny companion from another world.

Fancy Froggy is more than just a small business to me. It’s the childhood dream of a girl who never stopped believing in art, storytelling, and tiny magical worlds.

So whether you’re here because you love frogs, fairy tales, cozy aesthetics, or simply want a little more whimsy in your life, I’m truly grateful you found your way here.

Welcome to the froggy universe.
